Founder Matthew Tighe is a retired military veteran. He was an Army Ranger for the 2nd Bat, 75th Regiment unit. After 9/11, he re-enlisted as an Officer in the Coast Guard. Matt worked in maritime law enforcement, port security, and served deployment tours in the South Pacific islands to protect US waters. He is also a retired law enforcement officer and search and rescue diver.
Post-retirement civilian life led him into business development. He worked in technical communication government sales to state and local, and now provides the federal government with tactical gear and supplies. Matt founded Rally Point because he knows military and law enforcement from the unique perspective of retiring from both, and now, providing quality, durable, and life-saving uniforms and equipment to the front line.
Based in the Seattle, WA area, Rally Point is a disabled and veteran owned company.
